1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ShareMD, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

ShareMD is a markdown content sharing service that integrates with AI assistants via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The service allows users to create, store, and share markdown content with customizable expiry times.

3. User Accounts and API Keys

To use ShareMD, you must:

  • Provide a valid email address for API key generation
  • Keep your API key confidential and secure
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your API key
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your API key

4. Usage Limits and Restrictions

Free tier users are subject to the following limits:

  • Maximum 100 shares per day
  • Maximum 1MB per share
  • Rate limits may apply to prevent abuse

Limits reset at midnight UTC daily.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use ShareMD to:

  • Share illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Violate intellectual property rights of others
  • Share personal information of others without consent
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
  • Use automated systems to abuse the service
  • Share content that violates any applicable laws or regulations

6. Content Ownership and License

You retain all rights to the content you share through ShareMD. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Content shared via ShareMD is publicly accessible via its unique URL. Do not share sensitive or confidential information that you do not want to be publicly accessible.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to ShareMD. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Content retention is based on the expiry time you set:

  • 1 day shares expire after 24 hours
  • 1 week shares expire after 7 days
  • 1 month shares expire after 30 days
  • Permanent shares remain until manually deleted

Expired content is automatically deleted and cannot be recovered. We are not responsible for data loss due to expiry.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

ShareMD is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ShareMD or VeronaLabs be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, revenue loss, or business interruption.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to ShareMD immediately, without prior notice, for violations of these Terms of Service or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of ShareMD after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws and regulations.
